Peace and Harmony—Inspired by Nature!
In this interior design by ERBE—developed in collaboration with Markus Seidel of io-consultants GmbH & Co. KG in Heidelberg and photographed by Albrecht Voss —we have harmoniously combined acoustics and nature.
Through the skillful combination of natural materials such as wood and a well-thought-out color scheme, we’ve created a space that not only optimizes acoustics but also fosters a calming atmosphere. A space that radiates tranquility while offering room for collaboration and creativity—ideal for moments of relaxation and exchange. The use of renewable raw materials and CO2-sequestering building materials underscores the commitment to environmentally friendly construction.
By implementing the KfW 40 standard, integrating photovoltaic systems, and utilizing a CO2-neutral energy supply via biogas, a comfortable environment is created for employees and guests. The combination of acoustics, nature, and light is also reflected in the architecture. The atrium, in particular, serves as a vibrant space for interaction among employees, guests, and neighbors.
ERBE was also nominated for the prestigious Industrial Construction Award, which underscores our commitment to sustainable, innovative architecture and future-oriented production.
